Overall thoughts on the game
"We did very few things at a high level, and we have to get better on all aspects offensively. We have to execute at a much higher rate. We have to be able to communicate defensively at a higher rate, which we did not do. We'll get there. This is the first road test of three, and we have to hope that it brings us together, galvanizes us and makes us a lot better of a team."

On the performance of Erik Thomas and Jorge Rosa
"Erik [Thomas] was solid again offensively. We never really got a rhythm the whole night. We had some good counter and some back-court action that we looked for, and we weren't able to finish those the way we wanted to. Jorge [Rosa] gave us some spark off the bench. He really played solid and did a good job. We're pleased with him, and that's what we expected in bringing him in. We hope he can continue to grow, get better defensively and do the things he needs to do."

On the upcoming game at Tulsa
"You have to have a short memory when you're on the road. We know we have a tough one against Tulsa. It's a very difficult place to play. They have a very good ball club and we know we're going to have to play at a much higher rate than we did tonight. I am disappointed for our guys that we didn't play better, I'm disappointed that we didn't have a better collective effort. and we'll work to correct that immediately."

Overall thoughts on the game
"Honestly, we just couldn't get back into what we've been practicing. We were having a hard time getting into our offense, and it turned into us getting turnovers. It was showing on the scoreboard."

On Oklahoma State's speed and scoring transition
"They were fast and long, but I think if we would have executed on our offensive side, we would have been fine. It took us a long time to get into our offense. Their defensive athleticism just helped them to get up real quick and real fast."
