Overall thoughts on the match"This was the same scenario as last weekend. It came down to our position one, it went to a deciding set and we lost by two. I did feel that KG and Celeste were in control most of the match, but at critical points they made some careless and unforced errors. When you're up 13-12, you can't miss your serve like that. We've got to get better. We've got to get more mentally engaged if we want to win."
On the team playing through injuries"We've done a lot of training by position and not by pair, so when we did have some people out with injury [last weekend], we were really concerned more with the chemistry than the skill because we kept the pairs consistent in our strategy. Now, with one or two people, it's showing. The mental toughness that we could have with the other two young ladies in is definitely not where we want it to be."
On next weekend's matches at Houston Baptist"We're really looking forward to those. We want to compete at a high level since we are the more experienced program."
