Boler Named UNO Volleyball Volunteer Assistant

NEW ORLEANS ? A familiar face will join the sidelines for the University of New Orleans volleyball team as Lindsey Boler was announced Monday as a volunteer assistant for Jozsef Forman's squad.

Boler, a second-team All-Sun Belt and All-Louisiana selection in 2007, completed her career as a Privateer last fall after averaging a team-high 3.61 kills a set, ranking her 10th in the conference.

“It's always a good thing to bring back someone who graduated at UNO,” said Forman. “She was an outstanding leader on the court and I believe she will do a great job for our program and continuing to represent the UNO athletic program."

The native of Destrahan, La. will assist Forman outside of practices and matches as she will work to actively extend the reach of the UNO volleyball program into the community.

"Lindsey will be able to do a tremendous job in assisting us in outreach to the different schools in the New Orleans area she helps to promote our camps and volleyball program," said Forman.
