Student-Athlete Resources for National Voter Registration Day

NATIONAL VOTER REGISTRATION DAY | VOTE.ORG

NEW ORLEANS - The New Orleans Athletic department would like to celebrate National Voter Registration Day by providing it's student-athletes the proper information and resources for them to be able to exercise their right to vote.

Below students can find information on how to register to vote and request an absentee ballot in their respective state. All 24 states that are represented by Privateers are listed below, separated by region.

SOUTHERN STATES
LOUISIANA

• NOTE: To Register Online: Louisiana ID is needed. Must be registered by October 13.

TEXAS

• NOTE: Can only mail in voter registration form. Needs to reach your county election office AT LEAST 30 days before the upcoming election (October 4).

MISSISSIPPI

• Deadline for Absentee Ballots already passed. No online form available. Would've had to contact local County Circuit Clerk's Office to see if the person qualifies.

FLORIDA

• Online Voter Registration and Info Link: https://registertovoteflorida.gov/home
• NOTE: Registration is available fully online with Florida ID and last four digits of social security. Deadline is 29 days before the election.
• Absentee Ballot can be requested through your county's online application (find here: https://dos.elections.myflorida.com/supervisors/) and must be mailed back no later than 5 PM on the 10^th day before the election (October 23).

 
ARKANSAS
