BOISE, Id.- The Privateers (2-6) conclude their two-game road trip at Boise State (8-2) on Tuesday at 8 p.m. CT before returning home to host Dillard on Monday Dec.19 at 7 p.m. CT.
Tuesday's contest will be the third time the Privateers have squared off against the Broncos. Boise State owns the all-time series record 2-0, with the most recent meeting being a 100-80 Privateer loss on the Lakefront. The matchup will be on the Mountain West Network, and broadcast on NASH 106.1 FM with play by play by Jude Young.
New Orleans dropped a 100-61 decision at Portland on Saturday. The Privateers shot a season-low 34% from the field, 31% from the arc, and 76.9% from the charity stripe against the Pilots. New Orleans committed 22 turnovers which led to the Pilots gaining a 27-11 edge in points off turnovers.
Marquez Cooper and
Tyson Jackson both scored a team-high ten points with seven rebounds for Jackson. Jackson is looking to continue a three-game double figure streak having scored 10, 12, and 14 points in his last consecutive three games.
Jordan Johnson looks to hold his spot at #1 in the Southland for assist per game with 4.5.
ABOUT THE BRONCOS
Boise sits at 8-2 and is in the midst of a seven-game win streak, during which it is holding opponents to 56.4 points per game on 35.5% shooting from the field and 26.6% shooting from deep. It has held six of its 10 opponents to under 60 points this season, giving up an average of just 57.8 points per game which ranks 11th nationally and is the best amongst Mountain West programs.
