Michael Nicholls is this week's UNOPrivateers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Nicholls continued his strong freshman campaign by breaking his own school record in the 110-meter hurdles at the McNeese Springtime Classic in Lake Charles over the weekend.

Nicholls' time in the 110 hurdles was the best mark by a college student-athlete on Saturday as unattached Ryan Fontenot posted a 13.67.
