Reese Kanter is this week's UNOPrivateers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Kanter was instrumental in an upset win over #1-ranked Louisiana-Lafayette last Tuesday while going 4-for-5 at the plate. Kanter's RBI single in the seventh broke a 5-5 tie, and gave the Privateers a lead they would never relinquish.

Kanter went 8-for-17 on the week with three RBIs and two runs scored. He also had a three-hit performance in the opening game of the Privateers' weekend series against Lamar.
