FULL TIME POSITIONS

GRADUATE ASSISTANTS

For applicants looking to continue their education while earning valuable real-life experience, Graduate Assistant positions provide the best option.  In general, Graduate Assistants receive tuition, books and fees along with a stipend.  We treat our Graduate Assistants as colleagues with real responsibilities and expectations.  All Graduate Assistant position applications are here

GAMEDAY / OFFICE WORKER / TUTORING
We are always looking for part time help in the following areas.

GENERAL GAME DAY WORKER
• Assist in a variety of gameday and athletic oriented responsibilities in all areas including concessions, merchandise, and other logistics.
• Available to be utilized as needed both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Available to work nights and weekends.

EQUIPMENT
• Assist with managing equipment orders, storage, and shipping/receiving.
• Assist with inventory for all athletic department orders and equipment.
• Assist with administrative duties as assigned by staff to help learn daily setup, maintenance, and upkeep of equipment.

COMMUNICATIONS
• Assist with development of department-wide communication and media relations plan and strategies that align with the core mission, goals, and objectives of the athletics department.
• Available to work in specific roles such as stats.
• Assist with curation of storytelling to promote Privateer student-athletes, teams, coaches, athletic alumni, and administrators.

CREATIVE/SOCIAL MEDIA
• Assist with creating, defining, shaping, and executing strategies for social and digital media, creative video, and graphic design to engage current and future fans.

MARKETING
• Assist with strategizing, developing, and implementing innovative marketing, promotional and game day experience plans designed to increase student attendance.

OPERATIONS/FACILITIES
• Assist with facility management including facility walk through, maintenance, and the conditions of all athletic facilities.
• Assist in planning, setting up, and breaking down all internal and external athletic events including but not limited to rentals and athletic competitions.

TUTORING
• Assist in tutoring student athletes in academic courses that align with the tutor’s course load/experience, major/minor, or personal skillset.
• Available to monitor study hall to maintain a productive atmosphere for student-athletes.
