Erik Dege is this week's UNOPrivateers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Dege played a crucial role in helping the Privateers to a 3rd-place finish at the Arkansas State Fall Beach Classic. Dege placed fifth with a three-round score of 219 after turning in rounds of 71, 73, and 75.

On the tournament, Dege had 13 birdies with 10 of those coming on the front nine at the Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club course. Dege also had the best scoring average of any golfer on Par 5s with a 4.42. 

The third place team finish was the Privateers' best in a tournament since the Louisiana Classics in March 2010.
