Antonio Wertz put together his first double-double of the season in a Thursday win at Dillard.

The native of Alma, Ga. scored a career-high 28 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to help the Privateers to the victory. Wertz shot 11 of 16 from the field and added five free throws in seven attempts to bolster his scoring cause.

In addition to his offensive production, Wertz was a force on the defense end leading UNO with five steals and two blocks. The five steals established a career-high with the two blocks tying a career-high set multiple times.
