The sophomore came through with two wins in a dual against Southern Miss as UNO put itself in position to defeat the Golden Eagles despite playing with just four players.

Martic teamed with Sofija Karalic for an 8-7 (5) victory at the No. 2 doubles' position for the Privateers' lone victory in doubles' play on the day. The native of Croatia came back a short while later for a 6-4, 6-3 win at the No. 2 singles' spot against Stephanie Deliocono. The win was the third during the 2011 spring season for Martic, surpassing her two win total from the season before during the spring.
