Rui Silva is this week's UNOPrivateers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Playing a regionally-ranked foe for the first time this season, Silva posted a positive result - UNO's lone win against Tulane.

The sophomore rallied from a set down to defeat Tulane's Idan Mark 2-6, 6-4, 10-8. Mark is ranked No. 16 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Southern Region, eight spots behind Silva, who ranks No. 8.

The match against Mark was just the second time in nine matches on the season that Silva had been pushed to a third set and the second time in which the Privateer was forced to rally from a set down for the victory.
