Freshman cross country runner Blake Robertson is this week's UNOPrivateers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Taking his turn second on the UNO 'A' relay team, Robertson began his 3K portion in fifth place. Over the course of the 3K lap around Lake Oaks Park, Robertson was able to move his relay team into second place.

The end result allowed UNO to surpass a team each from Nicholls and Southeastern, in addition to a pairing from Tulane, enabling the Privateers to defeat two of their Southland Conference foes and close the gap against the Green Wave.

The second place finish for the UNO 'A' men's team which also included Michael Batson was the highest for either Privateer men's or women's teams and represented the best individual/team finish for the program since it was reinstated in 2011.
