NEW ORLEANS - The University of New Orleans baseball team will host an alumni game at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Maestri Field.
Former Privateer players will face off against the 2008 squad, with the alums holding batting practice at noon. Following the game, all players are invited to a dinner at Lafitte's Café, which will begin at 5 p.m.

Meanwhile, the current Privateers will hold their annual Fall World Series during the next two weeks. The best-of-five series will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, with the second game set for 11 a.m. on Sunday.
The series will continue at 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 7. Games four and five, if necessary, will take place at 11 a.m. on Nov. 10 and 11, respectively.
Admission to Maestri Field will be free for all games.
