LAFAYETTE, La. – New Orleans led by four at halftime, but Louisiana was able to come from behind to defeat the Privateers 73-63 Tuesday evening at the Cajundome.
Three Privateers reached double figures –
Troy Green (15 points and six rebounds),
Damion Rosser (10 points, four assists) and
Lamont Berzat (13 points, five rebounds, four assists).

- The Privateers took their first lead of the game with 11:28 remaining in the first (13-12) on Green's layup off a turnover. UNO scored six unanswered to erase an early deficit.
- Rodney Carson Jr. drained a three-pointer with 5:27 remaining in first to knot the game at 25-all.
- Green's pair at the line with 3:07 remaining put UNO in front 29-27.
- The Ragin' Cajuns went on a 9-0 run in the second to take a cushion.

- An errant inbounds pass with 12:17 remaining to the backcourt concluded with a foul call on the Privateers, but LaDarius Marshall erased a layup that led to free throws for Lamont Berzat.
- Moments later, Krunchy swatted away his second shot and finished on the other end, running the floor for a layup to regain the two-point lead.
- Green's layup with 6:29 remaining in regulation cut the ULL lead to one.

- Rosser led all scorers with 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting in the first, Marshall added five rebounds and Berzat dished out three assists.
- Cedric Russell scored 14 of his game-high 20 points in the second.
- Theo Akwuba posted a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds.
GAME NOTES
- Berzat returned to the starting lineup and began his 38th game as a Privateer.
- Green has 1,065 career points, good for 20th in program history. At No. 19 is Mike Edwards (1,108).
- Louisiana leads the series 43-32 and has won the last eight meetings.
