Jackson Leads The Privateers with 16 Points against Northwestern State

NEW ORLEANS, LA. - Tyson Jackson led New Orleans men's basketball (7-11, 2-3 SLC) with 16 points in the loss to Northwestern State, 92-67, at Lakefront Arena Saturday afternoon. 

The Privateers will see the Demons again on February 12th. 

Northwestern State shot 55.7 percent from the field and had four Demons in double figures.

Behind Jackson, who is now two points away from 1,000 career points, Jordan Johnson scored 13 points as the only other Privateer in double-figures. 

New Orleans shot 39.1 percent from the field and 69.2 percent from the free throw line. 

The Privateers (7-11, 2-3) will look to capture a road win Monday night when they head to Houston Christian. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. at Sharp Gym.
