2010-11 (SENIOR SEASON)
Mid-year addition to head coach Burzis Kanga's squad... Regained senior season of eligibility in light of UNO's announced transition to NCAA Division III... Went 12-4 including an 11-4 mark at the No. 3 position and 1-0 at No. 4... Posted Division I victories over Kennesaw State, Jackson State, Southern Miss and Alcorn State... Posted seven straight wins to end season, including victory at No. 3 against No. 7 ranked West Florida in a three-set thriller against Naomi Higa... In doubles' play, teamed with Kozue Matsumoto to post 12-4 mark at No. 1.... Duo's lone losses came to Southern Miss, Samford and West Florida... Pairing reeled off three-straight wins at start of season and before loss to UWF in season finale, had eight in a row.
2009-10 (JUNIOR SEASON)
Won consolation final at the 2009 ULL Invitaitonal, defeating Ashley Akin of North Texas 6-1, 1-6, 6-2 in the final... During season, posted an 8-10 record, the most wins of any member of the UNO roster... Results included 2-1 mark at No. 3, 2-5 at No. 4 and 2-3 at No. 5... Garza's single wins included victories over Southern, Southeastern Louisiana, South Alabama, Troy and UT-Pan American... In doubles play, posted a 5-11 mark with Ceara Howey, including a 4-10 record at No. 2... The duo of Garza and Howey defeated teams from Southern, Southeastern Louisiana, Houston and UALR.
2008-09 (SOPHOMORE SEASON)
Posted the highest winning percentage on the squad, going 9-6 in singles' play on the year, which included a 4-0 mark at the No. 5 position...Wins at No. 5 came over Alcorn State (2/4), Northwestern State (2/8), Northern Iowa (3/17), Southeastern Louisiana (3/23) - all in the form of straight set victories...Win at No. 3 came against Southern (1/30) with the loss, a three-set defeat against Tulane (1/22) after winning the opening set...Won conference tournament singles' match against Marlene Chemin of Middle Tennessee (4/17) in straight sets...Went 0-1 in doubles with Ceara Howey at No. 2, teamed with Pia Dozo-Moreno to post a 3-2 mark at No. 3, also went 1-2 with Sofija Karalic, 1-0 with Cassandra Escobar and 2-2 with Kir Kemp...Wins with Dozo-Moreno included Tulane (1/22) and Louisiana-Lafayette (1/31)...Other wins of note included a 3/23 win with Kemp over Southeastern Louisiana that secured the doubles' point in a 9-8 (4) victory.
TENNESSEE-MARTIN
Played one year (2005-06) for UTM, being part of an Ohio Valley Conference championship program as the Skyhawks compiled a 13-3 record overall with a 10-1 mark in OVC play...Compiled a 12-1 mark, primarily playing No. 5 singles, with 11 of the 12 wins coming in the form of straight set victories...Lone loss to UAB with an unblemished mark in OVC play...Played No. 2 doubles, posting a 5-6 record with teammate Jeanne de Wet.
