FRESHMAN SEASON (2011)
Competed in five meets for Privateers... Finished 1st or 2nd amongst UNO finishers in each competition including being the top finisher in his first four collegiate competitions... Best finish was a 19th place showing at the UL-Lafayette Invite... Season-best 8k time of 31:12.58 at the GSC championships placed the runner in 43rd place... Also placed top 50 at four of the five meets.

HIGH SCHOOL
Attended First Baptist Christian School and competed under Todd Jenning and Scott Reene... Three-year letterwinner in cross country and track and field... Three-time Louisiana Class C individual state cross country champion... Class C State Champion in 800, 1600 and 3200 member run... Named state track MVP... Wendy's Heisman State finalist... Charter Player of the Week... Played basketball for four years... Honor roll student throughout high school.
