2011-12 (FRESHMAN SEASON)
Mid-season addition to roster... Posted an 8-9 singles record, playing matches at spots No. 2 through No. 5... Record was 1-2 at No. 2, 2-3 at No. 3, 0-2 at No. 4 and 5-2 at No. 5... First UNO victory came against Xavier and later went on a five-match win streak that included a three-set victory against Delta State and Division I win over Jackson State...  Went 0-2 with Hossam Meligy in doubles' while going 0-3 with David Malmgren for an overall 0-5 doubles' record.

PRE-UNO
Attended Colegio La Union... One of the top youth players in Peru... was ranked No. 2 in U18 at the close of the 2010 calendar year... Won the U18 national championships in October 2011... Ranked as high as No. 1 in the country in U18 in singles' and doubles... At the close of 2011, was ranked No. 14 amongst all players in Peru.

Born Yoshikau Ysa on May 21, 1993... Parents, Victor Ysa and Gina Urbina de Ysa... Siblings, Tadashi Ysa Urbina and Schie Ysa Urbina.
