Career Notes: A three-year letterwinner, Yasmine Rashad enters her senior season with career records of 35-19 in singles and 24-24 in doubles

2015-16: Appeared in 17 matches in singles and 13 in doubles with Hafsa Laraibi as a junior, posting a 12-5 mark in singles and 7-6 in doubles… opened up season with three-straight victories in singles over Loyola (6-0, 6-0 over Madeline Smith at the fourth position) on Jan. 29, Jackson State (6-3, 6-4 over Karina Ono at the sixth position) on Feb. 6 and Alcorn State (6-3, 6-0 over Patricia Normand at the sixth position) on Feb. 13… posted first Southland Conference victory of season in opener against Lamar with a 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) triumph against Lucuana Di Laura at the sixth position (2/27)… went on a five-match winning streak in doubles with victories over Grambling State (6-0 over Tanya Magunje and A. Reshetnikova at the second position) on Mar. 28, Southeastern Louisiana (6-4 over Dany Raygadas and Margaux Kaltenbacher at the third position) on Apr. 3, then-ranked Louisiana Tech (6-0 over Manoela Chiacchio and Taly MMerker at the third position) on Apr. 5, Nicholls (6-4 over Clemence Krug and Ambika Pande at the third position) on Apr. 8 and McNeese State (6-0 over Anastasija Trubich and Klaudia Gawlik at the third position) on Apr. 10… recorded UNO’s lone point in Southland Conference Tournament match against McNeese State with 6-4, 6-1 win over Anastasija Trubich at the sixth position on Apr. 22.

2014-15: Appeared in 20 matches in singles play and 24 in doubles with Hafsa Laraibi as a sophomore, posting a 14-8 mark in singles and 12-7 in doubles… opened up season with back-to-back sweeps against Florida A&M (6-4 over Alexis Dean and Elizabeth Clayton at the third doubles slot, 6-0, 6-0 over Elysia Ortiz at the fifth doubles position) on Jan. 24 and Jacksonville State (6-1 over Diana Mirceta and Danielle Kerindi at the third doubles flight, 1-6, 6-1, 6-0 over Mirceta at the fifth singles spot) on Jan. 25, helping teammate Hafsa Laraibi claim Southland Conference Women’s Tennis Player of the week honors… won first Southland Conference match of season against Sam Houston State with 6-4, 6-4 victory at the fifth slot against Hanna Elfving on Mar. 8 … claimed five combined victories  in UNO’s final three nonconference matches, besting Lindenwood (8-2 over Clara Piccamiglio and Daria Ivanova at the third doubles slot, 6-1, 6-1 over Martin Savannah at the fifth singles flight) on Apr. 1, Jackson State (6-2, 6-2 over Daria Butorina at the fifth singles positin) on Apr. 9 and Alcorn State (8-0 over Aakanksha Punj and Patricia Normand on the third doubles court, 6-1, 6-1 over Patricia Normand at the fifth slot in singles) on Apr. 10… helped team upset No. 2 seed Stephen F. Austin in conference tournament with 4-6, 6-0, 6-0 victory over Valeria Terentyeva at the fifth position on Apr. 24.

2013-14: Appeared in 17 contests in singles action and 18 in doubles with Hafsa Laraibi as a freshman, finishing the season with a 9-6 record in singles play and 5-11 in doubles… finished second on the team in Southland Conference victories in singles with seven while finishing third with 10 combined… won first collegiate match with 6-0 sweep over Jackson State’s Angela Condorelli and Kesica Jayapalan with Soledad Calderon at the top doubles slot on Jan. 1… claimed first singles victory with 6-1, 4-6, 6-4 outing against Sthefani Rodriguez of Louisiana-Monroe at the sixth flight on Feb. 17… earned sweeps with victories in both singles and doubles play against Sam Houston State (8-3 over Olivia Battye and Natalie Petalia at the top doubles spot with Grace Nolan, 2-6, 6-1, 6-0 over Isabella Costa at the sixth singles position) on Mar. 7 and Oral Roberts (8-4 over Melanie Marlin and Maizanne Bouwer at the top singles slot with Grace Nolan, 6-1, 6-3 over Mairead Cleary at the sixth flight) on Mar. 15.
