Human Performance Center (HPC) Rentals

The Human Performance Center (HPC), located on the University of New Orleans campus at the corner of Elysian Fields Avenue and Leon C. Simon Drive, is the home of Privateer Volleyball.  Featuring three courts, it is the perfect venue for volleyball and basketball events or anything that needs ample indoor space. 

Specifics:

• The HPC boasts three total courts.  Center court is exclusively painted for volleyball use; other two courts can be used for volleyball or basketball. 
• The original HPC bleachers were removed in 2022; new bleachers are expected in the near future.  Currently, seating of approximately 150 is available between August – December.  Fans are welcome to bring seating as long as it does not scratch the floor. 
• Additional spectator space is available in the second-floor balconies overlooking courts one and three. 

Amenities:

• Participants are welcome to bring their own refreshments. A vending machine is also available. 
• Concessions sales, if needed, can be provided through the Athletics department.  Renters may also elect to provide their own concessions sales for a fee. 
• Bathrooms on site. 

Pricing:

• Pricing is based on renting the entire gym space including the two balcony spaces as needed.  Pricing starts at $100 per hour.  Volume discounts are available. 
• Additional expenses include janitorial services and staffing. 
• Should your group wish to sell their own concessions, a “buy out” fee will be charged. 
• Please note that a deposit of 50% will be due upon completion of the rental agreement.
