Ola Adegboye enters his seventh year in the business office for the New Orleans Privateers and fourth as an Associate Athletic Director. 

Adegboye joined the Athletic Department in May 2007. In his current position as Associate Athletic Director at the University of New Orleans, Adegboye serves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Athletics department and is responsible for managing all aspects of the business office, human resources, payroll, contracts, as well as overseeing the concessions and the novelty store at all UNO home events. He also serves as the financial liaison with the Privateer Athletic Foundation. 

Prior to joining the Athletic Department, Adegboye worked at the Department of Recreation and Intramural Sports, as the Assistant Director for Business and was an integral part of improving operating efficiencies by over 100 percent in a three-year period. He had oversight of the budget, procurement process and managed several different grant/project accounts. Adegboye was also UNO's tennis complex manager for a year (1999-2000) and has been involved as a business manager for the National Flag Football Championships since 2000.

Adegboye is an active member of the community and works on improving the lives of Youth that may be at risk. He is a Son of A Saint advisory board member and mentor. In 2012, he was awarded the Son of a Saint Foundation Appreciation Award for Outstanding community service. As Chairman of the Education Committee at the UNO MBA Alumni Association, he created a mentorship program geared towards academics and he developed a plan to measure the program's success.

As a student-athlete, Adegboye competed for the UNO track team from 1996-99 and was an All-Academic Athlete Scholar, All-American scholar and a member of the Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll.

Adegboye earned a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in management information systems from UNO in 2002. 

Born in Cambridge, United Kingdom, Adegboye is married to the former Dinah Essien and they have two daughters - Joelle and Jasmine.
