Four year letter winner for St. Paul's cross country team while in high school ... participated in the LHSAA State Cross Country Championships all four years... finished second in the LHSAA  Championships in 2020 ... high school personal bests were a 15:18.6 at three miles, and a 18:16.0 at 5,000 meters ... Ran for LSU his freshman year before transferring to UNO... Had a personal best of 19:53.8 in the 6K and a 26:51.8 in the 8K at LSU
