High School: Four-year letterman at Alexandria High for coach Allan Tinsley…helped lead the Trojans to a combined 91-32 overall record, a 27-11 mark in district play and trips to the state playoffs each season…completed prep career as ASH’s all-time leading scorer…as a senior, named first-team all-state, first-team All-Central Louisiana, first-team All-District 3-4A, District MVP and Central Louisiana Player of the Year after averaging 22.7 points, 6.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game…named Mr. Basketball of the Sunkist Tournament that season…tabbed Alexandria Town Talk Central Louisiana Player of the Year and second-team all-state as a junior after averaging 20.7 points and 4.0 assists per game.
