Jordan Blough enters her second season as head atheltic trainer for the New Orleans Privateers, after joining the staff as an assistant in 2012.
Prior to her arrival at New Orleans, Blough worked at IMG Academy for just over three years.
While at the Bradenton, Fla. facility, Blough worked with high school, college and professional athletes from around the world. Many of the athletes were recent student-athletes who signed with IMG in preparation for the NFL Combine and NBA pre-draft workouts. Blough’s job was to help all athletes maintain health through rehab and treatments so they could perform at their highest level at the showcase events.
Blough’s resume includes an internship with the East Coast Hockey League’s Florida Everblades, where she assisted the head athletic trainer on all practice and game treatments, as well as rehabs.
Blough is a native of Sarasota, Fla. and graduated in 2008 from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Fla. She currently resides in Metairie.
