Biography

o 2006-07: Finished off three-year career at UNO with best season...Second on team with 15.1 points per game and was ranked 11th in the Sun Belt Conference...Described by head coach Buzz Williams as the "heart and soul of team"...Set career high with 40 points in Privateers' win over Denver on Feb. 10...Marked the highest point tally by a Sun Belt player in '06-07...Was 15-of-25 from field and had career-high eight 3-pointers...Had 26 points in first half...Was named Sun Belt Player of the Week on Feb. 12 and LSWA Player of the Week on Feb. 14...Led Sun Belt in minutes played per game (37.6) and finished fourth in Sun Belt in free throw percentage (79.6)...Had 20 points or more six times and averaged 16.9 points per game in league-only contests.

o 2005-06: Prior to season, played for Team Canada in 2005 Summer Universiade in Turkey...Followed that up with strong junior campaign, capping off the year by being named third-team All-Sun Belt...Led Privateers with 5.7 assists per game and finished with 164 dimes on the year...Assists tally ranks fourth on UNO single-season charts...Led team in scoring in back-to-back games, including 19 against Western Kentucky (Jan. 28) and 12 in win against Denver on Feb. 2...Hit eventual game-winning shot with 1.3 seconds left in one-point win over North Texas on Feb. 4.

o2004-05: After coming off the bench over the first four games, he was inserted in the starting lineup where he stayed for the final 26 games of the campaign...notched a season-best tying nine assists in his initial start against West Florida (11/27) to go along with eight points and four rebounds...scored in double digits 11 times including the final two games of season with 13 at Denver (2/26) and 10 versus Western Kentucky (3/6) in the Sun Belt Championship tournament...hit season-best 5-of-5 from the line at Denver ...nailed 3-pointer with 4.4 seconds left in overtime to lift Privateers in road win at Louisiana Tech (2/19)...added two key free throws as well in the extra period versus the Bulldogs...poured in season-high 21 points against Arkansas State (2/5), making 7-of-11 shots and 6-of-8 free throws...added five assists, including a dazzling behind the back pass in the lane to Todd Bostic for an easy bucket in that contest...added 11 points against New Mexico State (1/13), Southern Miss (12/30), Alabama (1/1) and Denver (1/29)...dished at least four assists in 14 games this season including a season-best nine against West Florida and then at Middle Tennessee (1/22)...scored seven straight points to trigger a UNO rally late at Alabama (1/1)...had clutch defensive stop in final moment of Tulane (11/30) game on Marcus Kinzer that helped seal the 55-54 Privateer win...hit season-high tying two 3-pointers versus North Texas (1/27)...made 19 of his last 39 shots (48.7%) over the final seven games...ranked fifth in the Sun Belt in assist to turnover ratio at 1.67, dishing 100 times while committing just 60 turnovers...finished 10th in assists among league players at 3.33 per game.

oPrior to New Orleans: Averaged 9.7 points, 3.8 assists and 2.3 rebounds per contest at South Georgia Technical College in 2003-04 for coach Chris Wade ... made 52.7 percent of his shots from the floor and 70 percent from the free throw line ... a Georgia all-conference performer ... in only its third year of existence, his team started the season 21-1 and was ranked as high as No. 14 nationally in the NJCAA poll as the squad appeared in the poll for 11 straight weeks ... the Americus, Ga., based squad ended the campaign with a 26-6 mark and 10-5 in conference play as they dropped the Georgia Junior College championship game by one point at Georgia Perimeter ... Became the first player from the school to sign Division I scholarship.

oHigh School: Played his high school basketball at Mother Teresa ... his team's most valuable player in both 2000 and 2001 ... was an all-city selection his senior campaign.
