Biography
2008-09: Was an All-Sun Belt Conference third-team selection after finishing second in the league in scoring (17.3 ppg)...Was also fourth in the conference in steals (1.4 spg)...Had career-high 27 points in win "Senior Night" win over Arkansas State on Feb. 19 and had 25 points in victory over North Texas on Dec. 22...Scored 20 points or more in final four games of the regular season...Missed first four games of the year due to a sprained ankle, and the Privateers were 0-4 in those games...After scoring just four points in first game back (Dec. 29 win over Southern), scored in double figures in the final 25 games....Was 11th in the league in field goal percentage (48.7%) and was 18th in rebounding (5.1 rpg).
2007-08: JUCO transfer quickly showed why he was a good addition for Privateers...Ranked 13th in the Sun Belt Conference in scoring at 13.6 points per game and is 14th in rebounding at 5.3 boards per contest...Despite being 6-3, played the "4" position for much of the year while also seeing time at the "3"...Averaged 16 points in first three games of DI career, helping UNO to a 3-0 start -- all on the road -- including win at then-No. 21 NC State...Scored in double figures in 21 games...Had season-high 23 points vs. UALR on Jan. 2 and had 22 points in win at North Texas on Jan. 17...Recorded nine rebounds in three different games this year.
PRE-NEW ORLEANS: Spent two seasons at Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas, and averaged 14.6 points and 5.2 rebounds per game to help Navarro to a 17-12 record and a berth in the NJCAA Region XIV Regional Tournament championship game...Was a first-team All-Region pick and participated in the East Texas vs. United State JUCO All-Star game.
High School: Prepped at Warren Easton and was a 2005 first-team All-District and All-New Orleans selection after putting up 18 points per game for head coach Neil Mckendall...Also averaged seven rebounds and four assists per game...Was also a standout pitcher in baseball. Was an All-District and All-State hurler and received District MVP honors...Was team captain for both baseball and basketball teams.
