Biography

Career Notes: Three-year letterman has played in 27 events and 72 rounds during his career to date…averaging 76.347 strokes per 18 holes with 10 rounds below par and a low of 67 during the second round of the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate on Oct. 20, 2015…best finish to date was a second-place showing at the John Dallio Memorial from Oct. 3-4, 2015.
 
2015-16: Played in nine tournaments and 23 rounds as a junior…ranked second on the team in rounds below par (6) and fourth in strokes per round (76.652)…posted a trio of Top 10 finishes, coming in second at the John Dallio Memorial with a five-over par 221 (74-77-70) from Oct. 3-4, tied for third at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate with a career-best 11-under par 205 (70-68-67) from Oct. 19-20 and tied for eighth at the A-State Fall Beach Classic with a one-over par 145 (74-71) from Oct. 25-27…led the Privateers in each of the aforementioned events…fired a career-low 67 in the last round of the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate on Oct. 20.
 
2014-15: Saw action in all nine tournaments and 25 rounds as a sophomore…tied for the team lead in rounds below par (2) and finished second in strokes per round (76.560)…posted a pair of Top 10 finishes, coming in tied for second at the Atchafalaya Intercollegiate with a six-over par 222 (76-71-75) from Feb. 23-24 and a fifth-place effort at the A-State Fall Beach Classic with a plus-three 219 (71-73-75) from Nov. 3-5…led the Privateers in three events, adding a tie for 34th finish at the Cardinal Intercollegiate with a nine-over par 225 (74-77-74) from Sept. 29-30 to go with his efforts at the Atchafalaya Intercollegiate and Fall Beach Classic…fired season-low 71s in the opening round of the A-State Fall Beach Classic on Nov. 3 and in the second round of the Atchafalaya Intercollegiate on Feb. 23.
 
2013-14: Played in all nine tournaments and 72 rounds as a true freshman…led the team in strokes per round (75.833) and tied for the lead in rounds below par (2)…posted a pair of Top 20 tournament finishes, including a season-best tie for sixth at the Argent Financial Classic when he fired a two-over par 146 (77-69) from March 3-4…led the Privateers in three events, finishing tied for 20th at the Moe O’Brien Invitational with a five-over par 221 from Feb. 24-25 and coming in tied for 28th at the Southland Conference Championship with a plus-15 231 (77-77-77) from April 21-23 to go with his effort at the Argent Financial Classic…fired a season-low 69 in the second round of the O’Brien Invite on Feb. 24 and in addition to his final round at the Argent Classic on Feb. 25.
 
High School: Attended Österåkers Gymnasium but did not play varsity golf as the school did not sponsor athletics…nine-year member of Österåkers Golf Club where he appeared in 103 tournaments and averaged 78.71 strokes per 18 holes over 203 rounds…lowered his average from 90.00 in 2005 to 78.71 in 2013…best season came in 2012 when he averaged 76.20 strokes per 18 over 18 events and 40 rounds of action…tallied 29 Top 10 finishes in various age divisions, including seven in 2012, six in 2010 and five in 2013…posted runner-up showings at the 2007 Skandia Tour District #5-SGDF with a five-over par 77, at the 2011 Schyberg Junior Open with a six-over par 150 (72-78) and at the 2012 Vikingaskeppet with a three-over par 143 (72-71)…shot a career-best two-under par 142 (70-72) in his final pre-college event during the 2013 Richard S. Johnson Junior Open…teamed with current Privateers Markus Kreiger and Petter Salqvist to help Österåkers to a runner-up finish at the National Team Championship in 2013…finished high school with 3.8 GPA.
