Attended Haltom High School from 1999-2022 where he played basketball ... did not run track until he transferred to Duncanville HS for his senior year ... was coached at Duncanville HS by his father Clayton ... personal bests as a senior in high school include ...15.94 in the 100H ... 40.20 in the 300H, and 3:31.03 as part of the 4x400M relay ... won the 110H at the 2023 DeSoto Nike Invitational ... the 300H at the same event ... the 300H at the 2023 Lancaster Meet of Champions, and the 300H at the Mesquite ISD Invitational ... part of two 4x400M relay winning teams at Duncanville HS, the 2024 DeSoto Nike Invitational and the 2024 Mesquite ISD Invitational.

During the 2023 season also ran for Athletic Performance Ranch ... personal bests in club competition include 14.94 in the 110H at the USATF Southwestern Association Junior Olympic Championships ... and a 54.79 in the 400H at the USATF Region 12 Junior Olympic Championships. .. won the 400H at the USATF Southwestern Association Junior Olympic Championships with a time of 56.41.
