Three-year letterman for the Brother Martin Crusaders in Track and Field ... personal bests in high school included a 46'2.5" in the indoor shot put, a 47'3" in the outdoor shot put, and a 136'8.5" in the javelin ...named team captain and MVP his senior year at Brother Martin ... also wrestled and played football at Brother Martin helping the Crusaders to a pair of district, one regional and one LHSAA Championships.
