Abdoul Ouattara

Abdoul Ouattara was hired as a graduate assistant coach for the New Orleans Privateers tennis program. He is currently heading into his second season in 2023-24.

Ouattara was part of a staff that saw the Privateers men's team earn their first outright Southland regular season title in 2023 and their second consecutive regular season championship. New Orleans went 5-0 in the regular season against conference opponents and had a 14-6 record overall. 

Prior to New Orleans, Ouattara was the Athletic Performance Operations Assistant at Omaha. He has also been the tennis pro at several clubs from California to Florida and Rhode Island.

As a player at the collegiate level, Ouattara was twice named All-Summit League with the Omaha Mavericks (2018 and 2019). He went 16-7 overall (5-1 in conference) at flight two in 2018. 

Ouattara also has experience playing for country as he represented Ivory Coast in the Davis Cup.

Ouattara received his Bachelor's in Business Administration from Omaha and was a three-time Dean's List member.
