Adam Vrzal has joined the Privateer athletics staff as the new Director of Sales and Services as of July 2025.
 
Vrzal recently held the Director of Sales position at Jacksonville State and was in charge of selling sponsorships and managing all new client accounts for Gamecocks athletics.
 
Prior to that, Vrzal worked as the Corporate Sales Manager for a pair of baseball teams. From 2019-2022, Vrzal held that position for the Lexington Legends, an independent team in the Atlantic League. He worked for the Amarillo Sod Poodles (AA affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks) during the 2023 season.
 
Vrzal has also worked in the ECHL with the Florida Everblades (2019) and the Knoxville Ice Bears (2018). On top of being an account executive, Vrzal also did play-by-play for select Ice Bears games.
 
He started with the CV Stars in Hickory, N.C. as Director of Media Relations and Corporate Sales Manager.
 
Vrzal obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Electronic Media/Sports and Sales Marketing from Tennessee in May 2019. He also minored in Political Science in Knoxville.
