Brittany White

Brittany White

Brittany White was hired as the Associate Head Coach for the New Orleans women's basketball program, a move that was announced in June 2023.

White was part of a staff that saw a three-win improvement from the season before in her first year on the Lakefront. The defense first mentality saw the Privateers hold opponents under 40 percent from the field for the season. Alexis Calderon led the Southland in steals for the season while Justice Ross finished second in blocks.

White previously worked with head coach, Trelanne Powell at Tuskegee from 2018-22. The team won 72 percent of their games in that span. In her last season at Tuskegee, Ashiala Jackson won Conference Player of the Year while JuToreyia Willis earned Defensive Player of the Year honors.

White went on to FIU for the 2022-23 season. In her one season with the Golden Panthers, there were two student-athletes who received postseason accolades from Conference USA: Kaliah Henderson (First Team) and Sifa Jouyese (All-Freshman Team).

Prior to Tuskegee, White was an assistant coach at Francis Marion. She coached two All-Conference players in Shaunice Fulmore and Khai Chandler. Fulmore also made the All-Region Team in 2018.

White spent two years at Delta State and in her first season, the program went 24-6 with a conference championship. That season, Delta State led the nation in field goal percentage defense.

White earned her Master's at Delta State in Sport and Human Performance after she earned her Bachelor's in Kinesiology from Augusta.
