A walk-on to the University of New Orleans men's tennis team three years ago, Rohit Chivukula had not seen much action outside of exhibition No. 7 singles' matches until last year, when he had been thrust into the lineup and expected to contribute. The native of India has had his struggles, posting a 2-15 mark, including a 2-14 record in dual play. Chivukula also was part of doubles' tandems that went 0-9 a season ago.

This past week, Chivukula equaled his dual play winning total from a year ago. The junior teamed up witih Oliver Grimbly for an 8-2 win at the No. 3 doubles' position against Mobile's Clint Key and Billy Musgrove, the second doubles' win in dual play for Chivukula and Grimbly on the season. In singles' action, Chivukula followed it up with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Key at the No. 5 court, helping preserve UNO's perfect result against the Rams.
