Anna Segarra Rius is this week's UNOPrivateers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Rius helped guide the Privateers to a 2-1 weekend including dual wins over Sam Houston State and SIU-Edwardsville. In singles play, Rius remains unbeaten and has only dropped one set on the year.

On Sunday against SIU-Edwardsville, Rius played at her highest position (No. 2) on the season and swept her opponent in straight sets. In doubles play, Rius teamed with Hafsa Laraibi to win their match and helped the Privateers secure the doubles point en route to a 5-2 win in the Southland opener on Friday against Sam Houston State.
