Darius Roy is this week's UNOPrivateers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Roy turned in a season-best in the Southland Championships while finishing second in the 100-meter. Roy's time of 10.34 finished only behind Justin Walker of Northwestern State who turned in the world's fastest 100 in 2014. Roy's time also ranked second-fastset in school history.

In the 200, Roy finished fifth with a time of 21.25. After the weekend, Roy is ranked in the Top 50 nationally in the 100-meter.
