Cara Sander is this week's UNOPrivateers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Sander accumulated 48 kills in the first three matches of the Privateers' season at the Texas Southern Invitational. Sander racked up 23 kills against Prairie View A&M, and became the first Privateer to have 20 or more kills in a match since Aug. 31, 2012.

After the weekend, Sander ranks third in the Southland Conference in kills. Sander also added 19 digs and four block assists.
