Soledad Calderon Arroyo is this week's UNOPrivateers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Calderon went 4-0 on the weekend helped push the Privateers women's tennis team to a 2-0 showing in conference with wins over Lamar and Sam Houston State. On Saturday, Calderon came back from dropping a first set tiebreak to defeat Katya Lapayeva as the Privateers earned a 5-2 win over the Lady Cardinals, avenging a 4-3 loss last year.

On Saturday, Calderon posted two more wins and ran her singles mark to 7-4 on the season. In doubles, Calderon and teammate Marta Sans are now 7-1 and have won five straight matches.
