The senior right-handed pitcher responded to his return by allowing just one run on eight hits in 7 1/3 innings of work as he engaged in a Sunday afternoon pitching dual that wrapped up in just 98 minutes. Though Sanders was on the wrong side of the decision, he battled through and allowed UNO a chance to win the contest, in which he struck out two.
