Alireza Rafiei is this week's UNOPrivateers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Rafiei was one of three Privateers to take home top honors at the Vulcan Invitational hosted by University of Alabama-Birmingham.

Rafiei won the men's shot put with a best throw of 15.07 meters, which topped a field of 27 student-athletes. Rafiei topped entrants from Georgia, Savannah State, Bethuen Cookman, Alabama State, and others.
