University of New Orleans Kaitlyn Grice had an impressive weekend at the New Orleans Invitational tournament. The Junior, Middle Blocker was named to the All-Tournament team along with teammate Blessing Dunn as well as several other nominees from Alcorn State, Southeast Missouri State, and Fordham.

In Match 1 of the season against the Alcorn State Lady Braves, Grice led the team in kills with 7 of the overall 33. In the second match of the day against Fordham, Grice recorded 12 kills as well as 2 aces in the five-set match. In the final match of the weekend, UNO faced Southeast Missouri State in another 5-set contest but were able to walk away with a win, leaving them with a 2-1 record at the end of the weekend. In Match 3, Grice recorded 6 kills and led the team in blocks with 6.
