Joshua Tomblin finished third in 'The Mackel' New Orleans City Amateur Championships over the weekend at Lakewood Golf Club, one of two UNO golfers in the top 10 at the event.

Tomblin carded an even-par 72 on the opening day of the tournament and resided in second place through 18 holes. On the second day, Tomblin posted a 1-over 73 while playing in the final group and finished in third place overall, four strokes out of the lead.
