Marta Sans posted two big wins for the University of New Orleans women's tennis team in a victory against Xavier (La.)

Playing at the No. 1 doubles' position alongside teammate Manuela Gomez, Sans helped to defeat the NAIA's No. 22 ranked duo of Kourtney Howell and Nicole DeLoach by an 8-4 score.

A few hours later, Sans rallied from a set down to defeat Howell in singles' play. Sans dropped the first set 6-1 before winning the match 1-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-4).

Sans is now 3-1 overall in singles' action this year (1-0 in dual play) and 1-0 when playing with Gomez in doubles.
