Keri Thomas averaged 24.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and two blocks per game for the Lady Privateers this week.
Thomas scored a career-high 30 points in a loss to Mobile, shooting 12 of 22 from the field and dishing out three assists. The 30-point effort was the first over 30 since Le'Della English poured in 41 points on Jan. 3, 2007 against Florida Atlantic. In the contest, Thomas eclipsed her previous career-high of 20 points with 17:40 left in the second half.
To follow it up, Thomas scored 19 points and blocked three shots for the Lady Privateers agianst Nebraska-Omaha. Thomas added four assists with both the block and assist numbers falling one shy of career-high efforts.
