In his UNO debut, Zack Kelt posted a quality start on the mound to lead UNO to an 8-2 victory over Southern. Kelt allowed two hits and two runs - just one earned - over six innings of work while striking out five Jaguar batters.

Through the opening weekend of the season, Kelt is 1-0 and has a 1.50 ERA with opposing batters hitting .100 against the sophomore right-handed pitcher.
