In the UNO volleyball team’s lone match of the week, sophomore setter Ryan Hamilton stepped up with 38 assists and nine digs in the team’s loss to Nicholls State.

Hamilton’s 38 assists rank as the Prairieville, La. native’s second-best effort of the year in the category and tied for fifth all-time. Earlier this season, Hamilton matched her career-high with 40 in a victory over Prairie View A&M that clinched UNO it's first tournament title since 2009.

On the defensive, the nine digs put Hamilton one short of her second double-double of the season and sixth in two seasons.  The dig performance was the second-highest this season and helped UNO post 66 digs as a unit, another second-best effort accounted for in the match.
