Taylor Berry had a productive week for the UNO volleyball team.
Berry extended her streak of double-figure kill performances to four with three more over the last seven days as the Privateers won 2 of 3 matches.
A native of Houston, Texas, Berry started her week with 10 kills, two service aces and three digs against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Oct. 8.
Berry continued her week with 12 kills, two service aces and had a hand on five blocks at Southern on Oct. 10. The five blocks established a career-high for Berry, while also matching the team's best effort in blocks.
The final showing was 12 kills and a .391 hitting percentage against Houston Baptist. Berry was the lone player to hit over .300 and/or tally more than five kills in the match
On the week, Berry pounded down 34 kills with nine errors in 62 attempts for a team-best .403 hitting percentage. The freshman averaged 3.4 kills per set, was second on the squad in service aces (four) and ranked third on the roster in total blocks (seven).
