Lovell Cook scored a game-high 20 points in UNO's 72-68 victory over San Jose State last Friday night.

Cook's 20-point performance was his second straight performance with 20 or more points dating back to last season, when he netted a career-high 24 points at Selma (Feb. 27, 2012). Cook's effort is also the first of 20 or more points by a Privateer against an NCAA Division I foe since Antonio Wertz poured in 26 against Tulane on Nov. 26, 2011.

A product of Warren Easton, Cook is averaging 22 points on 54.8 percent shooting (17 of 31) from the field during his last two games on the floor. The game against SJSU was Cook's sixth with 20 or more points in his career as a Privateer.
