Soledad Arroyo is this week's UNOPrivateers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Playing her first-ever dual, Arroyo battled for a 7-6, 4-6, 10-8 victory over Marie Aubert at the No. 3 position for the Privateers in its season opener against Nicholls State.

Arroyo had a very successful fall campaign, reaching the consolation finals of Flight 2 at the Big Easy Classic before making a run to the Flight 2 semifinals at the Lady Demon Invite.

In six matches dating back to the tournament season, Arroyo has played three straight super-tiebreakers in the third set, winning two - both against Southland Conference competition.
