Playing inspired tennis this week, Fanny Benincasa posted a perfect 4-0 record with matching 2-0 marks in both singles' and doubles' as UNO won a pair of matches.

A senior on head coach Burzis Kanga's squad, Benincasa extended her doubles' winning streak with partner Marta Sans to four straight matches with this week's wins.

Benincasa and Sans defeated Loyola's Kanda Borgononi and Christian Krtalic 8-0 before dispatching Maria Vargas and Hagar Caro of Auburn-Montgomery 8-1.

The victory over AUM clinched the doubles' point and provided the Privateers momentum heading into singles' play. The duo of Sans and Benincasa have not conceded more than three games to any of their last four opponents and have won 7 of 10 matches.

Similar steaks exist in singles' play for Benincasa after rolling a pair of opponents this. The wins extended the Boudreaux, France native's streak to four straight wins and seven of the last 10.

Benincasa did not drop a single game in either of her victories, rolling Krtalic 6-0, 6-0 and Caro 6-0, 6-0. The win over Caro snapped the Warhawk player's four-match winning streak.
